I’m pleased to report that after a period of extensive testing that our new webshop is now live! We accept all methods of payment, just about, via our partnerships with PayPal and Stripe and WooCommerce.
What does this mean for Bandcamp?
Absolutely nothing. Our shop is to be considered a companion to Bandcamp -you can use whatever store you like! Bandcamp, obviously, has digital downloads and streaming via their wonderful app, so if that’s your thing it is ideal. However, if you just want physical products via the artist, then buying direct cuts out a few middle men!
Internet of Fickleness
Also of note is that the internet is a fickle thing. Who is to say that Bandcamp will be around forever? By keeping everything in house I can maintain a constant and consistent presence on the internet for all our fans and followers. That kind of flexibility is priceless.
Right now, we only have a few things listed until I complete the inventory. I have a few CDs kicking around that I had forgotten about, too, so they will be in the store along with some Bjorn Lynne albums I was involved with years ago.
