Today, I finished the recording of our 2020 Xmas song! What was going to be a simple little two or three minute piece ended up a 6-minute monster. Bizarrely, I have not added any original music to it, but it has been re-arranged in quite some fashion . . . And there’s a sneaky bit of wackiness on the end.

Anyway, I will begin mixing it as soon as I can. This will likely be the last Xmas single we do as I think that 5 is more than enough. I will likely combine them all into a nice little EP at some point, too, which I think would be a really nice thing.

Anyway, can’t say when it’s being released but it will be middle of November / early December time and likely a lot sooner in the store. Oh, and I need to come up with some artwork!

Before I forget, this will mark the first recording to feature the Native Instruments Guitar Rig 6 thingy. It’s a bit nice and maybe I will do a review of it! Without doubt, it is the most beautifully realized guitar app out there. Whether you like the sound of it comes down to taste, but the UI is simply stunning.
