The Elegant Simplicity recordings catalogue is quite large and has been growing steadily since 1992. However, the recording career of band leader Steven McCabe actually goes back to 1985!

The scope of this discography includes all official band albums, compilation albums, tribute CDs, third party projects etc. Each and every release is shown with artwork, full description, track-listings and catalogue numbers etc. Truly, a collectors paradise!

    Since 1992, as Elegant Simplicity, we have released 20 full length albums (including one compilation). Each release is described in full, accompanied by artwork, track listings, collectors notes etc.

    This section of the discography details projects that have had the involvement of Steven McCabe: either as producer / engineer / designer / musician etc. Needless to say, this is for the completists out there!

    These are MP3 releases only - generally only available directly from us.

  • Promos ( 3 )

    These are items we have released and given away free to our mailing list or items that have been used to tempt some hapless record company into giving us a deal! Needless to say, these items are now extremely rare!

  • Other Releases ( 2 )

    These are releases composed by Steven McCabe but NOT released under the Elegant Simplicity name. Needless to say, these recording are amongst the most collectible of our output (going all the way back to 1985) and are very, very rare indeed.

  • Sampler Tapes ( 2 )

    So far, we have released 2 sampler tapes. These were advertised in musicians magazines and given away free of charge to interested parties as a method of attracting more listeners - ah, the days before mp3!
