The Elegant Simplicity Blog

This Blog (or blogatorium!) should be your first port of call for the latest site news, opinions, rants & raves and goodness knows what else! The most recent entries will appear first. Feel free to leave your comments: you don't have to be a registered user to do so, but all comments are moderated before publication. This blog is not designed to cause offence, so apologies to anyone if it does!

Site tweaks abound . . . !

Eagle eyed and regular visitors will have noticed that the Latest News ticker thing that was in the top right column of the home page has now been removed and placed in the main content block. This was to stop me from needlessly duplicating a lot of material. For example, when I announce something in the blog that I feel needs promoting to the front page, I also add it as an announcement. Therefore, two lots of the same work! Anyway, that is now a thing of the past and the front page will always display brief links to all the latest content, wherever it is published on the site.

In addition, I have created a little button thing, also on the front page, designed to immediately draw the visitor's attention to the free MP3s we now have available for download!

Finally, I have started doing some work on SEO  - you will notice that the title tags have been changed on some pages to more accurately reflect the content contained therein. I hope to have the entire site changed by the end of this week . . . !
