Just thought I would post a quick update regarding the soon-to-be-released new album Too Many Goodbyes. Following the upheaval of the past two weeks, which saw our domain disappear overnight and the blind panic to get it back, the CD has been delayed once again. Only for two weeks, though. The official release date will be 1st September. Those of you on the mailing list will be able to purchase it before the official release date, at a special price - assuming all goes well at the pressing plant!
As usual, I veer towards ecstacy and relief that the album is finally coming out and the anxiety that comes from not knowing how it will be received by the fans or the press. I certainly think everyone is in for a big surprise, though! The guitar just hits you in the face and doesn't let go: my beloved Fender Stratocaster has never sounded so good. Unlike a lot of my work, this is a very upbeat album, despite the lyrical content! To my ears it seems to be the natural successor to Architect of Light. Anyway, I will write more about it in the coming weeks
